Shown here are a single view of the school ruins and two views of the courthouse ruins at Ravanna in Finney County. These shots were taken in 1999 by a Kansas Historical Society Archeologist. Ravanna was founded in 1887 and was in the running to become the county seat of Garfield County. Later, Garfield County was merged into Finney County. The courthouse at Ravanna was never used for its built purpose and the town became one of Kansas' ghost towns.
