A crowd of people gather to celebrate the dedication of the Wheat Train in Thomas County, Kansas. The train was carrying donated wheat "to our friends in Europe from your friends in Thomas County." This is train is possibly part of the 1947 Friendship Train, organized to send relief to Europe after the war.
