These two gunflints were recovered from the surface of a site in Johnson County in what was the Shawnee Reserve. It is unclear whether the site was a Shawnee farmstead or the Chouteau trading house for the Shawnee. Both gunflints were quarried and manufactured in southern England and have a single dorsal arriss. The smaller gunflint shows some powder burn and fire crazing.
