This street scene taken in Fredonia, Wilson County, Kansas, shows the Commerical Hotel, which was built in 1869 and burned down in 1888. Other businesses on the block include the Sample Room, a dentist, and the Dexter Stables. There are two horse-drawn carriages and a buggy on the street, and a young child sitting on a draft horse.
