This letter, dated November 23, 1937 is from Louis Palenske written to his son and daughter-in-law, Victor and Irene Palenske. Palenske addresses the impending war in Europe and speaks in favor of the United States staying out of the war. He also has re-typed a letter he received from the secretary of Walter P. Chrysler in New York verifying Chrysler's birthplace as Wamego, Kansas.
