Glenn School, District #33, circa 1890-1900, two miles west of Lecompton, Kansas. The school was constructed of native limestone, with three shuttered windows on the side facade. A small building can be seen at the back of the school, perhaps an outhouse. The students and teachers are lined up in the foreground of the image with some students sitting in the front row. No identification is present, other than an inscription on verso "Glenn School Dist #33, 2 miles west of Lecompton, Ks." Funded by the National Historical Publications and Records Commission through the Kansas State Historical Records Advisory Board.
