Photograph of Lecompton Elementary School, 3rd & 4th grades and teacher, 1909. Children and teacher standing outside of a stone school with wooden door and entryway behind them. The old stone school used to stand at the south-west corner of Woodson and Boone Street. (The stone school burned in 1919.) Each of the pupils have numbers inscribed on their chest or near them on the photo in ink. The numbers correspond to identification inscribed on verso. Top Row--Left to Right: 1. __ Miller, 2.
