These five slides show various view of the Purma Petroglyph site in Russell County. There is some Euro-American graffiti, some with associated dates of 1875 and 1876, but the glyphs on the sandstone outcrop at the site have not been excessively vandalized. The petroglyph figures include a spoked wheel, anthropomorphic glyphs, equestrians, a possible bird bone vest, rectilinear glyphs, and a horse glyph among others.
