This photograph shows the Union Pacific Railroad Company depot in Oakley, Kansas. The "streamline" depot built in 1941 features a flat roof, rounded edges and a smooth stucco exterior. Only two "streamline" depots were known to be built by the Union Pacific Railroad in Kansas, this one in Oakley and the other in the town of Wakeeney, Kansas. The depot in Oakley still stands and is used by the Union Pacific Railroad.
