Painted cast iron mechical bank. Heavyset man man seated in a chair. When a coin is placed in his right proper hand, he places it in his left proper coat pocket and nods. Known both as "The Little Fat Man" and "The Tammany Bank," this mechanical bank was designed by John Hall of Watertown, Massachusetts and manufactured by the J. & E. Stevens Company of Cromwell, Connecticut.
