This piece of fabric has been cut into a half-square triangle quilting piece. It was recovered during excavations at the 2016 Kansas Archeology Training Program at the Last Chance Store in Council Grove. The pink, red, purple and black floral pattern on a light colored background would have made an attractive addition to a quilt. The Last Chance Store was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1971.
