This is a photograph showing members of the Senate and House in the 1893 Kansas Legislature and views of the Legislative War. The House was divided between the Populists and Republicans. Each representative and senator is identified with their district number. Also, photographs of Governor Lorenzo Dow Lewelling, Lieutenant Governor Percy Daniels, United States Senator William A. Peffer and United States Senator John Martin and other officials appear on the photograph.
