This is a tintype showing Clemens Fienhage who was born in September, 1823 in Oldenburg, Germany. He was married to Agnes Lamping who died about 1862. They had three children Bernadine (Dina) Fienhage Ronnebaum, June 12, 1852-June 24, 1925; Frank Fienhage, May 10, 1860-February 6, 1931; and a son who died in Germany at the age of 10 or 12 years. Around 1878, Clemens came to America to live with his daughter Mrs. Bernadine Ronnebaum in Nemaha County, Kansas. His son Frank lived near by and Clemens spent time with both families. He died on June 27, 1904 and is buried in the Catholic cemetery in Seneca, Kansas.
