This bone fish hook was excavated at the Albert Bell site in Sheridan County during the 2002 Kansas Archeology Training Program. The site, an Upper Republic Phase Middle Ceramic house, had a single radiocarbon date of 710 +/- 60 BP (1212-1400). The J-shaped hook has a hafting area at the head.
