Mabel Patten Renwick Hughes is the wife of James Clark Hughes. She is dressed in a dark skirt and white blouse, dark hose and hat. She is standing on the sidewalk and holding something in her arms. Mabel and James were married on November 3, 1908 in Kansas City and lived at 418 Taylor, Topeka. The photograph was probably taken in Topeka. In 1917 James C.
