Riley Flaring Tool Decorated is the type name assigned to this type of pottery by Archeologists. It was recovered from the Markley site, a Smoky Hill Phase occupation site in Ottawa County. It is cord roughened on the surface to the lip and decorated with tool-impressions on the lip and strap handle edges. The strap handle is attached to the lip and shoulder.

Date: 1000 CE-1500 CE
