This photograph shows inmates Louis Johnson, prisoner #6245 and Wm. Herbert, prisoner #9252. Louis Johnson was received at the Kansas State Penitenitary on June 15, 192 from Wyandotte County, Kansas for arson, burglary and larceny. Wm. Herbert was received at the penitentiary on March 13, 1900 from Douglas County, Kansas for burglary and attempted rape. This was his second term at the penitentiary.
