Tom Deffenderfer was received at the Kansas State Penitentiary on June 29, 1899 from Butler County, Kansas for grand larceny. W.O. Hummer was received at the penitentiary on December 5, 1898 from Shawnee County, Kansas for assault with intent to commit murder.
