This photograph shows inmates Isaac Fox, prisoner #6083 and John Poteau, prisoner #8432. Isaac Fox was received at the Kansas State Penitentiary on February 5, 1892 from Leavenworth County, Kansas. Inmate John Poteau, also known as Jean Baptiste Poteaux, was received at the penitentiary on January 31, 1898 from Cherokee County, Kansas. Both men were arrested for murder.
