This photograph shows Pearl Harris, 8789, and James Hamilton, 9436. Pearl Harris was received at the Kansas State Penitentiary on January 5, 1899 from Noble County, Oklahoma for larceny. James Hamilton was received on July 5, 1900 from Butler County, Kansas for murder. He was sentenced on June 20, 1900.
