This photograph shows inmates Tom Jones, 7002, and William Johnson, 8909. Tom Jones was received at the Missouri State Penitentiary on June 21, 1894 from Payne County, Oklahoma for manslaugher. William Johnson, alias for John Hall, was received at the Kansas State Penitentiary on May 11, 1899 from Johnson County, Kansas for grand larceny.
