This photograph shows Chas H. Collins, prisoner #8033 and Isaac Owens, prisoner #9168. Chas H. Collins was received at the Kansas State Penitentiary on February 26, 1897 from Hamilton County, Kansas for highway robbery. An alias used by Chas Collins was David Murphy. Inmate Isaac Owens was received at the penitentiary on December 16, 1899 from Crawford County, Kansas for assault with intent to kill.
