This photograph shows inmates Jasper W. Rainey, prisoner #6845 and Henry Tutwiler, prisoner #3797. Jasper W. Rainey was received at the Kansas State Penitentiary on March 16, 1894 from Miami County, Kansas. Inmate Henry Tutwiler was received at the penitentiary on December 5, 1885 from McPherson County, Kansas. Both men were arrested for murder.
