This photograph shows inmates Silas Ransom, 9313, and Willis Thompson, 9549. Silas Ransom was received at the Kansas State Penitentiary on April 6, 1900 from Oklahoma County, Oklahoma. Willis Thompson was received at the penitentiary on November 24, 1900 from Crawford County, Kansas. Both men were arrested for grand larceny.
