This photograph shows inmates Lewis Robinson, prisoner 9229, and Lee Bowman, prisooner 8037. Lewis Robinson was received at the Kansas State Penitentiary on March 3, 1900 from Lyon County, Kansas for assault with intent to kill. Lee Bowman was received at the penitentiary on February 27, 1897 from Wyandotte County, Kansas for robbery.
