This photograph shows inmates Wm. Murray, 8631, and Frank Wayne, 9213. Wm. Murray was received at the Kansas State Penitentiary on September 15, 1898 from Johnson County, Kansas for grand larceny. Frank Wayne was received at the penitentiary on March 18, 1900 from Sedgwick County, Kansas for burglary and grand larceny. He was sentenced on January 17, 1900.
