This photograph shows inmates John Rivers, prisoner #9432 and Chas. Marion, prisoner #9524. John Rivers was received at the Kansas State Penitentiary on June 28, 1900 from Crawford County, Kansas for burglary. Chas. Marion was received at the penitentiary on November 5, 1900 from Sedgwick County, Kansas for grand larceny. He was sentenced on September 21, 1900.
