This Natol Cholera Mixture bottle was recovered from the excavations of the grocery at Fort Dodge in Ford County. The bottle's label promises "Quick relief from Dysentary, Diarrhea, Cholera Morbus, Summer Complaint, Cramps and pain in the bowels." Perhaps the contents of this bottle brought some comfort during the 1867 outbreak of cholera at the fort.
