Here are five photographs of Dachau concentration camp taken during World War II by Lawrence E. Kunkle. He served in 30th Field Artillery, APO 403, U. S. Army and was involved in liberating Dachau concentration camp. The photographs show bodies of the men and women killed in this Nazi death camp. Poles constituted the largest ethnic group in the camp during the war, followed by Russians, French, Yugoslavs, Jews, and Czechs.
