This shell ornament was recovered from the Curry site, 14GR301, and donated to the Kansas Historical Society in 1984. It was made from a local Greenwood County mussel shell. The slit was probably carved into it so it could be hung from a cord as an ornament.

Date: 1200 CE-1400 CE
