This photograph from 1967 shows a Babe Ruth youth baseball team from Topeka. Pictured in the top row are (l to r): Mr. Cochran (coach); Tom Smith; John Artzer; Don Carrol; Ron Renfro; Skip Moore; Tommy Cochran; Bobby Schwardt; and Harland Coffman (coach). Kneeling in the front are (l to r): Frankie Boos; Greg Johnston; Terry Cochran; Steve Downey; Marty Coffman; unidentified; Bill Hamlin; Terry Maddux; and Tyron Thompson. The team was sponsored by Lindy's Market and the Coffee Cup Cafe. The photograph, taken in Wellington during a state Babe Ruth tournament, was made by Bradley's Redwood Studio. Digital reproduction of the photograph was accomplished through a joint project sponsored by the Kansas Historical Society and the Shawnee County Baseball Hall of Fame.
