This is a letter from Ben Davidson, Victoria, Kansas to J. C. Swanson, England. Davison, who worked for W. Grant as farm manager, talks about his job, living conditions, climate, wildlife, livestock, and laying out a new town in Ellis County, Kansas. Also, he writes about someone stealing his horse and the circumstances surrounding the theft.
