Samuel's first wife was Sarah Elizabeth Thackrey. Other members of their family are photographed including, Lola May Harris, Leola Maud Harris, Frank C. Harris, Fannie Thackrey, Dick Harris, Verda Harris, Vida Harris, Carrie O. Harris, Arthur Lynn Harris, and Margaret Harris Carter.
