This is a colored brid's eye view of Larned, Kansas, the county seat of Pawnee County. It had a U. S. Land Office and was on the route of the Atchison, Topeka, & Santa Fe Railroad. It does not contain a legend to buildings. Street names are visible. The inset in the lower left corner depicts the Larned House and the one in the lower right pictures the school. The image was drawn by D. D. Morse.
