This writer, identified only as G.E.K. of Kansas City, offers a rare, yet apologetic criticism of Kansas Governor St. John. He discloses that the Governor, perhaps unwittingly, appointed a "whiskey rag" to a Judgeship, and laments the criticism it has generated.
