Demonstration trains like this represented an alliance between railroad companies, agricultural scientists and, manufacturers to promote settlement, improve farm management, and market commercial farm products. This train was scheduled for stops in 21 Colorado towns from January 25 through February 3, 1927. The Santa Fe was cooperating with the Colorado Agricultural College. J. F. Jarrell and Charles W. Lane helped orgranize the train and were representing the Santa Fe as the train traveled in Colorado. The poster was printed by Crane & Co., Topeka.
