These photographs show the family of Augustus Menninger, father of C. F. Menninger. Dr. C. F. Menninger, with sons William Claire and Karl Augustus, founded the Menninger Clinic, which was the nation's first group psychiatry practice in 1919 and was located in Topeka, Kansas.
