The bill also provided for the election of Precinct Committee women instead of their appointment. Haines, Augusta, KS, Republican; Governor Huxman; Mrs. Ben L. Mickel, Soldier, KS, Republican; Mrs. W.C. Harris, Emporia, KS, Democrat; and Ann Laughlin, Topeka, KS, Democrat.
