

Battery operated tin Santa Fe train locomotive. The wheels and detachable front grill are plastic. It was made between 1960 and 1970 by Masudaya in Japan, which used the MT (Modern Toys) logo. Masudaya was a leader in building tin battery operated toys in the post WWII period. The romance of the American West and Western genre products were most popular in the U.S. from about 1945 to 1970.
