This photograph shows Gene McInturff, also known as Hamburger Gene, with his food cart in Hutchinson, Kansas. His business was located at the southwest corner of 1st and Main, and he sold hamburgers for a nickel apiece or 25 for a dollar. In addition to hamburgers, he sold peanuts, pop and candies.
