This black and white photograph shows workers cutting meat at the Iowa Beef Processors, Inc. in Emporia, Kansas. The company was founded in 1960 in Denison, Iowa. It was the largest meat packing operations in the United States until it was acquired in 2001 by Tyson Foods Inc. based in Springdale, Arkansas.
