This black and white photograph shows the Emporia Gazette building at 517 Merchant Street in Emporia, Kansas. The two-story structure was built in 1900 to house the Emporia Gazette owned and operated by newspaper editor and publisher William Allen White. For over a century this building has served as the newspaper office for the Emporia Gazette.
