This black and white photograph shows a view of a two-story house and dilapidated shed in the 300 block of Madison Street, Topeka, Kansas. This area of Topeka was part of the Urban Renewal program in the 1960s to rehabilitate aging and decaying inner cities either by massive demolition, slum clearance or development.
