This is a photograph of the first store buildings in Ensign, Kansas. Businesses were Jim Kimball Barber Shop; Lee Tedlock, Milt Sayre Grocery and post office; Glenn Cramer editor of the newspaper; R. C. Osborn & Barbua meat & produce store; and R. C. & Barbua picture show & dance hall.
