This newspaper article, from the January 29, 1941, edition of the Kansas City Times, details the effort required to build the defense plant at Parsons, Kansas. According to the article, nearly 10,000 construction workers of various types were required to build the plant due to the rushed wartime schedule that required the plant to be built as quickly as possible.
