A photograph showing the Smith automobile factory, Topeka, Kansas. Since functional automobiles were a relatively new invention, car parts were not widely available. For this reason, the Smith automobile factory had to make all the parts for their cars on site. It was one of four automobile factories in Kansas during this time period.
