These series of four black and white photographs show the statue of the twentieth Governor of Kansas and U.S. Senator Arthur Capper being moved into the capitol in Topeka, Kansas. The 2,000 pound native limestone statue, sculpted by artist Peter F. Felten Jr., of Hays, Kansas, was placed on the second floor of the statehouse rotunda.
