This photograph shows the Union Pacific Railroad Company depot in Wakeeney, Kansas. The "streamline" depot built in 1941 features a flat roof, rounded edges and a smooth stucco exterior. Only two "streamline" depots including the one in Wakeeney were known to be built by the Union Pacific Railroad in Kansas. The other depot was built in the town of Oakley. The green and white depot in Wakeeney was razed in 1985.
