A 1986 campaign brochure promotes Larry Jones as the Republican candidate for Kansas Governor and Bud Burke as the Republican Lt. Governor. The brochure features images and brief biographical sketches about the candidates and their political platform. The two candidates reassure voters that they are a sound combination of leadership and experience to lead Kansas into the 1990s. Larry Jones and Bud Burke were defeated in the August 5th primary by fellow Republican challenger Mike Hayden and running mate Jack D. Walker.
