Here are views of a military camp located near Mount Bagsak, on the island of Jolo in the Sulu Archipelago, Philippines. In the battle of Mount Bagsak, a total of 51 members of the 8th Cavalry's Troop "H" joined other soldiers in a violent battle with hundreds of Moro warriors. The photographs were probably taken by Jesse Garver, Larned, Kansas, a member of the 8th U. S. Cavalry, Signal Corps.
